On April 17, 2024, the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs hosted a roundtable discussion "Interaction of State Authorities and the Public in Combating Criminal Offenses in the Central Regions of Ukraine".

One of the platforms for discussion was the section "War Trauma: Overcoming and Rehabilitation". A practical psychologist of the rehabilitation department made a presentation on "Rehabilitation of war traumas of military personnel on the basis of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Region" (hereinafter - TMA). The participants were introduced to the organization of the rehabilitation process in the institution and described the areas of work that the TMA specialists work with.

It was noted that since February 24, 2022, about 600 officers of the National Police of Ukraine and servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine have undergone rehabilitation treatment at the TMА.
