Respiratory secretions are produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, which contains the virus and is likely the main means of spreading the disease.

Measures:

non-contact greeting;
Hand hygiene: wash hands frequently and gently with soap and water for 40-60 seconds, rinse and dry thoroughly, do not touch eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands; 
Respiratory hygiene and coughing etiquette: cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue when coughing or sneezing;
keeping a distance of at least one and a half meters from other people in public places;
self-isolation in case of respiratory symptoms. You need to isolate yourself from those with whom you live as much as possible. Especially if there are elderly people among them. Call in advance before visiting a doctor. All visits to the doctor should be discussed in advance with your doctor using the number provided.

The Ministry of Health informs that in January 2024, 9 cases of a new sub-variant of the coronavirus strain Omicron - JN.1, called "Jenny", were registered in Ukraine. In particular, 3 cases of the virus were detected in Sumy region, 2 cases in Volyn and Cherkasy regions, and one case each in Rivne and Zaporizhzhia regions.  The SARS-CoV-2 virus is constantly mutating, but the acquired immunity after vaccination reduces the risk of complications during the disease.  The recommended course of primary vaccination against coronavirus infection and the first booster consists of 3 vaccinations.
