The Department of Infection Control conducted training for employees of the "TMO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Oblast" on hand hygiene in the role of infection prevention and infection control, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette, and medical waste management.
Accordingly, an assessment of the knowledge of medical workers was carried out in order to determine further training improvements and possible factors influencing the understanding and application of current requirements for the purpose of infection prevention during the provision of medical assistance and patient care.
Inpatient department employees were also trained and trained to meet the requirements of standard operating procedures approved by the management during their professional duties.
The attitude to the requirements of infection control will allow to increase the degree of compliance with the established rules and reduce the risk of infectious diseases associated with the provision of medical care among both patients and medical personnel.
