The State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Krovograd region" ensures the right to receive free medicines during treatment in the inpatient department of the institution for persons within the allocated funds from the state budget.

Categories of persons entitled to priority provision of free medicines during treatment in the inpatient department of the hospital (with polyclinic) of the TMA:

Veterans of internal affairs bodies are entitled to free use of health care facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the priority free purchase of medicines in accordance with paragraphs 1, 2 of Article 6 of the Law "On the status of veterans of military service, veterans of internal affairs bodies, veterans of the National Police and some other persons and their social protection".

Participants of war actions specified by subsections 5 and 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On Status of Veterans of War, Guarantees of Their Social Protection" are entitled to get free medicines, medicines, immunobiological preparations and medical devices subject to prescriptions pursuant to subsection 1 of section 12 of this Law.

Persons with disabilities as a consequence of war as defined in Article 8, Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection" are entitled to benefits of free receipt of medicines, medicines, immunobiological preparations and medical devices upon prescription in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the same Law.

Citizens of Ukraine, who suffered as a consequence of the Chernobyl disaster and are classified as Category I persons in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster" are entitled to free drugs with prescriptions pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 20 of the same Act.

Persons with COVID-19 are provided with everything necessary from the list of medicines for medical assistance to patients with COVID-19, disinfectants and antiseptics, personal protective equipment, medical devices, disposables, reagents for laboratory tests, as defined in the List of Goods, Works and services necessary for implementation of measures aimed at prevention of origination and spread, localization and elimination of outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the territory of Ukraine ", approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from March 20, 2020 № 225 (as amended № 248 from 29. 03.2020).

Beneficiary categories of persons are provided with free medicines provided exclusively by the National List of Essential Medicines, approved by CMU Decree No. 1081 of 13.12.2017, which entered into force in January 2018.

This Decree defines that the National List of Essential Medicines is a list of vital essential medicines with proven effectiveness, access to which the state guarantees to all patients free of charge through the rational use of budget funds.

Provision of medicines to beneficiaries by medical institutions depends on the amount of funding from the state budget and is calculated based on the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 782 of 11.07.2017 "On Approval of the Procedure for determining the volume of the need to purchase medicines by healthcare institutions and facilities, fully or partially financed from the state and local budgets".

Information about the available list of free medicines in the Institution is posted in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine of 26.04.2017 № 459 "On approval of the procedure for posting information on the availability of medicines, consumables, medical devices and food for special dietary consumption, received at the expense of state and local budgets, charity work and humanitarian aid" and in implementation of the activities of the Anti-Corruption Program of the State Administration of Internal Affairs of Uk The information is posted on the stands and website of the Institution on a monthly basis.
