The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine is actively working to engage the population, including internally displaced persons, war veterans and their families, in recreational physical activity and sports.

Monitoring is planned to continuously monitor the main indicators of physical activity, determine the level of involvement in physical activity and healthy lifestyles of different age groups and social strata, and create and improve conditions for physical activity and sports.

One of the tasks of the monitoring is to formulate proposals for improving the system of engaging the population in physical activity and sports and to develop, based on the monitoring data, reasonable recommendations for making public administration decisions aimed at improving the quality of engaging the population in physical activity and sports.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, in cooperation with the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, has created a questionnaire on the platform https://survey.stat.gov.ua to conduct an online survey of the population to monitor key indicators of physical activity of different age groups and social groups, as well as stimulating and constraining factors.

The survey will be conducted in all regions of Ukraine from December 18, 2023 to January 18, 2024 among different population groups from 18 years old to 65 years old and older.
