In pursuance of paragraphs 31, 32, 33 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 27, 2015 No. 878, and in order to ensure timely and high-quality services for pensioners of the system of internal affairs bodies directly at their place of residence in accordance with with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated September 25, 2018 No. 787 "On organizational and staff changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs" at the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine" in the Kirovograd region since February 1, 2019, the sector began with social and humanitarian issues.
From the day it starts working, the sector organizes and carries out the following work:
- keeping records of pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- reception from a person who has acquired the right to a pension in accordance with the Law "On Pension Provisions for Persons Dismissed from Military Service and Certain Other Persons" dated 09.04.1992 No. 2262 - XII;
- checking the correctness of the submitted documents for the appointment of pensions, the compliance of the personal information contained in them with the data of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine and other documents;
- preparation of information for issuing certificates on the amount of cash security for recalculating pensions and for assigning pensions for the loss of a breadwinner to family members;
- acceptance of applications and documents giving the right to obtain a certificate of a participant in hostilities, badges "War veteran - participant in hostilities", blank sheets of coupons for the right to receive travel documents (tickets) with a 50 percent discount of their cost and reimbursement of veterans of internal affairs bodies related to travel for treatment and recreation in medical rehabilitation centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, sanatoriums and rest homes;
- acceptance of applications and documents giving the right to obtain a certificate of "Veteran of Internal Affairs Bodies", "Veteran of Military Service" and badges in accordance with the law;
- acceptance of applications and documents for family members of veterans of internal affairs bodies to receive certificates of the right to benefits in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the status of veterans of military service, veterans of internal affairs bodies, veterans of the National Police and other categories of persons and their social protection";
- sending to the authorized structural unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs materials regarding the appointment (recalculation) of pensions to pensioners of the Internal Affairs Directorate, persons entitled to receive a survivor's pension, documents that are the basis for obtaining benefits, certificates, issuing certificates of financial support, and the like;
- preparation of documents for the Fund for Social Protection of Disabled People to pay compensation for unused vouchers to war invalids;
- issuance to persons who have been granted the appropriate status, issued certificates of a participant in hostilities, certificates "Veteran of Internal Affairs Bodies", badges, sheets of coupons;
- consideration of appeals, applications and complaints regarding pension and social security of persons dismissed from the police department and their family members, as well as other correspondence on issues that fall within the competence of the sector.
