The main tasks of the Hospital are:
provision of primary, secondary (specialized) outpatient and inpatient medical care to persons entitled to medical care in accordance with the standards of medical care established by law, in accordance with the accreditation category;
implementation of measures aimed at preventing morbidity: temporary and permanent disability of employees of territorial police bodies, military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as NSU), employees of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs located in the region.
Main Hospital tasks are:
- provision of primary, secondary (special) outpatient and stationary medical assistance to persons who may have the right to medical care, according to the standards of medical assistance, established by legislation, as per the category of accreditation;
- The number of visits focused on the prevention of incapacitation: the time and age of the legal authorities in the territorial authorities of the police, the service services of the National Guard of Ukraine (Ukraine)
Functions of the Hospital:
- organization and conduct of preliminary and periodic medical examinations of employees engaged in heavy work, work with harmful and hazardous working conditions or those where there is a need for professional selection and annual mandatory medical examination of persons under the age of 21. Organization and conduct of medical examination of persons applying for positions, incl. positions of civil servants related to the performance of state functions in territorial police bodies;
- planning, organizing and carrying out preventive vaccinations among persons entitled to health care
- organization and conduct, in accordance with the legislation, of dispensary registration of persons entitled to medical care.
- in accordance with the established procedure for the examination of temporary disability for persons who are on outpatient and inpatient treatment and organization of the work of the Medical Consulting Commission of the Hospital. Implementation of measures aimed at preventing morbidity, temporary and permanent disability to persons entitled to medical care;
- determination of the need for medical and social expertise and compliance with the procedure for referring persons entitled to medical care to the medical and social expert commission for the examination of long-term or permanent disability;
- in the direction of the military medical commissions of the TMO to carry out a study of the state of health during the stay of police officers and military personnel of the NSU on stationary examination;
- preparation of medical documentation for sending persons entitled to medical care to the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Polyclinic of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, communal health care institutions and health care institutions of other subordination to provide them with consultative and inpatient medical care, as well as the preparation of medical documentation for submission to the Commission of the Ministry of Health on issues of referral for treatment abroad in accordance with the law;
- establishing indications for patients for rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort stages of treatment and selection of patients for medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment;
- on behalf of the TMO management, the participation of the Hospital's specialists in the medical support of police officers, military personnel of NSU in the performance of their official tasks in conditions of emergencies of a man-made and natural nature, while ensuring public safety and order;
- medical examination of police officers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and NSU military personnel sent to serve and work as part of the peacekeeping personnel of the UN international peacekeeping operation to participate in international peacekeeping and security operations, as well as persons sent to the anti-terrorist operation zone, in-depth medical examination of these persons after their return and medical support of victims of hostilities;
- medical care, monitoring and analysis of the health status of persons affected by the Chernobyl disaster, which are attached to medical care. Preparation of information for submission to the SLM for entering it into the departmental register of persons affected by the Chernobyl disaster, including the Deceased, participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster;
- implementation of the latest medical technologies, achievements of medical science, technology for diagnostics and treatment, introduced by the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and approved by the Ministry of Health, into the practice of the Hospital's structural divisions.
